How many photos do you deliver?
Every wedding is different, and the story your photos tell isn't tied to an arbitrary number. That being said, you can expect on average 50-75 edited images per hour of coverage (i.e. 8 hours yields 400-600 images)
When can I expect my photos?
It depends on the time of year, but generally about 6-8 weeks. It can take less time in the winter and spring, and will likely take closer to 8 weeks in the busy seasons of late summer and fall. I will send you a handful of sneak-peeks within 48 hours so that you can cherish memories of your big day as you head for your honeymoon <3
Do I need a second photographer?
I think a second photographer is super helpful in a few specific instances, but not always necessary. Forgoing a second shooter is a great way to save on your budget and also frees me up to focus and do my best work rather than manage a crew. The three instances they're helpful are 1) if you're each getting ready at different locations and there's no way to work the schedule to let me get to both getting ready locations; 2) it's a winter wedding where you're not doing a first look, and we need to get a ton of photos done between the ceremony and sunset; and 3) you want to take a lot of family photos and photos of you two during cocktail hour, but also want full cocktail hour coverage, but even this can be worked around by making cocktail hour a little longer. If you do want to add a second shooter to your package I have great photographers that I love working with and will handle all the details.
Do you include travel in your pricing?
I love to travel, and it's one of the best things when travel and photos intersect. I do not charge for most travel, but if additional travel expenses are required they will be outlined in your personalized quote prior to issuing a contract.
What if we're super awkward in front of a camera?
Pretty much everyone I work with feels awkward about doing portraits at first. I get it — I'm not a professional model either. The important thing to know is that you don't need to worry about it. I've got your back. You're gonna look amazing, and it'll be super easy. Promise.
